Don’t Have to Run for Cover to Hide stretch marks

After the nice long vacation to Hawaii where you gorged on good food and wine do not be surprised when you come back to finding your jeans just a tad bit tighter.  When you realize the scale all of sudden has to be just lying, it shows you are now 110 pounds from the 100 that you had left with run to the mirror too.  Lo and behold, you are bound to be greeted with hideous stretch marks.  Do not panic, life has not ended as there is a solution in sight to hide stretch marks.

There are various treatments which are available either through a medical practitioner such as a plastic surgeon or cosmetologist or even some large-scale beauty clinics.  Some surgical approaches to hide stretch marks are using the theorem of taking the old skin off and putting new skin on.  One such treatment is called chemical peeling involving the usage of a chemical to help remove the damaged layer of skin caused due to breakage of the inner layer of tissue.

Another medical treatment to hide stretch marks is dermabrasion.  Dermabrasion uses a rotating tool which uses a circular motion over the affected area to scrub away the dead skin on the outer layer.  With its gentle action the equipment is designed to carefully glide over the skin and stimulate the generation of new skin cells.

Chemical peeling and dermabrasion both have been in use for some time now and have proven to be effective to hide stretch marks.  Then of course there is laser surgery for stretch marks which involves the process of beaming intense concentrations of light energy at the specific area to remove dead skin cells.  The dead skin cells give way for reproduction of fresh skin cells and activate the collagen producing agent in our body for giving a new layer of skin to hide the stretch marks.

Each of these procedure mentioned are performed by specialized individuals trained to carefully handle the equipment and solutions used.  The risk involved is minimal yet consultation should be made before undertaking this process to hide stretch marks just to be sure and ensure that your medical history and skin type is kept in mind.
